Booking & Cancellation Policy

FARES AND PRICES

All fares and prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received and booking confirmation is issued via email. Prices that are quoted include all taxes and fees unless we advises otherwise.

YOUR BOOKING AND DEPARTURE POINT

Please present your confirmation email 10-15 minutes before departure to the staff at departure point of your tour. The location of the departure point will be previously agreed upon via email or phone and is stated on your booking confirmation. We can not be held responsible for clients showing up late for their tours.

AVAILABILITY

The travel products and services sold through this site are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. Tour is confirmed when full payment is received via our online booking system or in cash on the day of tour. If we have to cancel a tour due to weather and safety conditions, we always offer an alternative tour for the same price.

IMPORTANT

We request that you carefully check the dates of your booking and to contact us immediately if these are not correct.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We encourage all our guests to enclose any underlying health issues that may interfere with their tour. Please let us know this information before your booking, or at least 1-2 days before starting your tour with us. This information is crucial for us to avoid any accidents or to suggest tours and activities that you may not be fit for. All your information is kept safe and is only used to ensure your safety during your tour. Epic Mayan Tours is not liable for any accidents and health emergencies occurring during our tours.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Prior notice is required for any cancellations or refunds. If you reserve a package and need to cancel, your refund will depend on how much notice is given prior to the scheduled date of the transfer or tour.

    1 month or more notice given – 90% refund

    2 weeks to 1 month notice given – 75% refund

    1 to 2 weeks notice given – 50% refund

    less than 1 week notice given – No refund

  • Cancellations should be carried out at least two days before the date of your booked tour.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to a booked tour will incur an additional fee of $20 USD.

  • A reimbursement to your credit/debit card will occur through Atlantic Bank Ltd. after 15 – 20 days from the date of request.

  • There will be no refund on unused tickets or cancellations made on the same day of a tour or once the tour has started. This includes cases when we have to cancel specific activities due to weather or other not-foreseen conditions, and the guests do not want to take the alternative tour we offer.

  • There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no shows. Rescheduling can be done on emergency cases only, and as determined by Epic Mayan Tours.

  • In case of a no-show on the day of the tour, a refund of the total amount (minus a percentage of the handling fee) will be made ONLY upon receipt of a medical certificate justifying the no-show.

  • Change of the date of the tour can be done within 48 hours prior to the tour date.

  • Change of the tour destination can be done within 2 weeks prior to the tour date.

  • All cancellations or change of dates can be done by phone or email.
