ATM caves are an ancient limestone cave system used by the Maya people to hold ceremonies. It is the only cave system in Belize where the Maya archaeological remains were left untouched in their original position.
This cave requires swimming, hiking and climbing rock formations. Discover Maya archaeological remains and the remains of the famous "Crystal Maiden".

Prepare for your tour
During this adventure, our guests will be swimming, hiking and climbing through the cave system. We suggest bringing light clothing and hiking shoes (that can get wet). There is an area where you will be asked to take shoes off to protect the rock formations. We suggest wearing a pair of socks with your shoes in the cave. You can also bring a change of dry clothing because there will be a chance to change clothes after the tour.
